The Z100HDE series HDMI cables are designed for minimal cost while delivering expected High Speed HDMI with Ethernet performance. These cables utilize public mold designs to take advantage of volume runs and are supplied with gold flash plated connector shrouds. The internal connector pins are gold plated for consistent connectivity and tarnish resistance. The connectors are standard HDMI plugs rated for 4 lbs. of retention force. The bulk cable is 7.3 mm in diameter and features 28 AWG conductors on the 5 high speed TMDS pairs. The larger conductors ensure performance and reduce voltage loss. The Z100HDE series is available in five standard lengths often used for equipment hookup. Z100HDE cables are not directional, they are passive cables without embedded chipsets. The 25 foot version features CL2 ratings for NEC Concealedlocations (in-wall). The Z100HDE series is designed for non-concealed installations, these cables are not to be installed in wall. Per the NEC AWM rated cables can be run in conduit. The 25 foot cable has CL2 ratings and is permitted in wall. These products feature a UL listed bulk cable with an AWM rating for fire safety. The cable has passed the VW-1 flame test. The 25 foot bulk cable has passed UL1685 Vertical Tray flame testing.
